Tour Program
DAY 1-2 ➢ ISTANBUL – EDİRNE - SOFIA – BELGRADE (08 - 09.07.2025)
On the first day of our trip, we greet our valued guests at our departure points and start our tour. We arrive at Kapıkule via Edirne. After customs and passport procedures, we reach Sofia. With its 3000-year history, Sofia is one of the oldest cities in the world. Among the main historical sites in Sofia are the St. Sophia statue, the Hagia Sophia Church, Nedelya Church, Rotonda Church, the Russian Church, the Prime Ministry and Parliament buildings, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Sofia University, and Banya Başı Mosque. After our Sofia tour, we head to our next destination, Belgrade. After a city tour, we move to the capital of Serbia, Belgrade. In Belgrade, which means “White City” and was incorporated into the Ottoman Empire by Suleiman the Magnificent, we will see Ottoman artifacts and traces of the former Yugoslavia during our visit. We begin our Belgrade city tour, seeing the General Staff Buildings, Serbian Parliament, Old Palace, Terazije Fountain, Republic Square, National Museum, and National Theatre. Following our city tour, we start our walking tour, visiting Student Square, Leopold and Belgrade Fortress Gates, Fortress Square, the Great War Island located at the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers, Sokollu Mehmet Pasha Fountain, Damat Ali Pasha Tomb, Istanbul Gate, and the Open-Air Weapon Museum. After our visits, we enjoy a short free time on Knez Mihailova Street before heading to our hotel. (Accommodations in Serbia - Belgrade)
DAY 3 ➢ BELGRADE - LJUBLJANA – BLED LAKE - VENICE (10.07.25)
After having breakfast at our hotel, we continue on the lands of SLOVENIA, which gained independence with the dissolution of Yugoslavia. Our first stop is Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, awarded the 2016 European Green Capital. During our panoramic city tour, we will see the Ljubljanica River, the Parliament building, Ljubljana University, the Old Square, the Dragon Statue, Dragon Bridge, Tivoli Park, St. Nicholas Cathedral, and Prešeren Square. After Ljubljana, we head to BLED LAKE, nestled in greenery and known as one of the oldest glacial lakes in Europe. After spending some enjoyable time in nature, we depart for Venice. Venice is built on 118 islands linked by canals and bridges in northeastern Italy. The city is renowned for its natural beauty, architecture, and artworks. After some breaks and free time, we proceed to our hotel in Venice. (Accommodations in Italy - Venice)
DAY 4 ➢ VENICE - VERONA - MILAN (11.07.25)
After breakfast at our hotel, we start our exploration of Venice, the romantic city of Italy. We will visit important sites such as Piazza di San Marco (St. Mark’s Square), Palazzo Ducale (Doge's Palace), Basilica di San Marco (St. Mark’s Basilica), Campanile di San Marco (St. Mark’s Campanile), the Grand Canal, the Bridge of Sighs, and the Rialto Bridge. After the tour, during our free time in Venice, guests can taste various seafood and enjoy a pleasant gondola ride through the narrow canals. After the gondola ride, we will depart for the Venetian islands, known for Murano glass production (extra tour), with our boat. Murano is famous for glass craftsmanship, while Burano is known for its lace. We will explore the islands and then reunite with our bus and drive to Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet. Upon arrival in Verona, we will begin our city tour, including sites like the Scaliger Bridge over the Adige River (Italy’s second-largest river), the medieval Castle of Castel Vecchio, Piazza delle Erbe with street performers, shops, cafes, and souvenir stalls, Juliet’s House, the well-preserved Arena di Verona, and Piazza dei Signori surrounded by beautiful Italian architecture. After completing the Verona tour, we will leave for Lake Garda, known for its natural beauty, before heading to the fashion capital, Milan. (Accommodations in Italy - Milan)
DAY 5 ➢ MILAN – PORTOFINO – PISA – MONTECATINI (12.07.25)
After breakfast at our hotel, we start our city tour of Milan, one of Italy's favorite cities. As the second-largest city in Italy, Milan is a fashion capital known for its cuisine, opera, and churches. We will visit the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele shopping arcade, and famous Buenos Aires Boulevard, concluding at Porta Romana. After the tour, we will proceed to Portofino, renowned for its romantic ambiance, luxury, and beautiful coastline. You can spend your free time taking stunning photos at Castello Brown and exploring Portofino harbor. After our visit to Portofino, we will enjoy a short coastal walk in Santa Margherita, adorned with colored houses, before heading to Pisa in the late afternoon. In Pisa, known for its iconic leaning Tower of Pisa and Piazza dei Miracoli, we will also visit the Cathedral and Baptistery. Then we journey to the charming town of Montecatini, known for its thermal hotels amid lush greenery. Upon arrival, we will proceed to our hotel for accommodation. DAY 6 ➢ MONTECATINI – FLORENCE – ORVIETO – ROME (13.07.25)
After having breakfast at our hotel, we head to Florence, the heart of art, history, and cuisine in Italy. Situated around the Arno River, Florence is like an open-air museum. We will see Piazza della Signoria, the Neptune Fountain, Michelangelo's famous statue of David, the Ponte Vecchio bridge with its jewelers, the Uffizi Gallery garden showcasing Renaissance masterpieces, and the grand Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral in Duomo Square. There will also be leisure time for shopping in Florence. Following our visit, we will move to Orvieto, known for its remarkable historical significance and natural beauty, and visit its ancient city center and Orvieto Cathedral. After Orvieto, we will drive to Rome for accommodation. (Accommodations in Italy - Rome)
DAY 7 ➢ ROME – VATICAN (14.07.25)
After breakfast at our hotel, we will embark on a tour of Roman icons and the Vatican. Known as "the city at the heart of the world," Rome allows you to embark on a historical journey through its art, history, music, shopping, and culinary delights. While masterpieces from various periods attract thousands of tourists every season, Rome handles even the largest crowds gracefully. During our tour, we will visit iconic sites such as the Colosseum, where gladiator battles were once held, the Forum Romanum, Trajan Forum, Circus Maximus, the Trevi Fountain (where throwing a coin signals your return to Rome), the Spanish Steps famous for street performers, Castel Sant'Angelo, Navona Square, Via del Corso, Pantheon, and Piazza Popolo. After the city tour, we will visit Vatican City, the smallest country in the world, which serves as the administrative center for the Catholic Church (St. Peter's Basilica). After the tour, we return to our hotel and have free time. (Accommodations in Italy - Rome)
DAY 8 ➢ ROME – NAPLES – POMPEII - BARI or BRINDISI (15.07.25)
After breakfast at our hotel, we set off for Naples. Upon arrival in Naples, we will have a panoramic city tour. During our tour, we will visit Plebiscito Square, the Royal Palace from the 17th century, Castel Nuovo (New Castle), the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, which was inspired by the San Pietro Square and Pantheon in Rome, the Galleria Umberto I, built in 1737 and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the Naples Harbor. After this tour, we will proceed to the Pompeii Archaeological Park. The city of Pompeii was buried under 7 meters of ash caused by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD and remained hidden until excavation in the 18th century. We will have the chance to see the houses, palaces, and petrified residents revealed by these excavations. After our enchanting visit, we will leave this fairytale city and head to Bari Port for our ferry journey. (Accommodation on the ferry between Bari or Brindisi and Igoumenitsa)
DAY 9 ➢ IGOUMENITSA – THESSALONIKI – KAVALA – IPSALA – TEKIRDAG – ISTANBUL (16-17.07.25)
After our ferry journey, we arrive at the port of Igoumenitsa in Greece in the morning. Following disembarkation, we depart for Thessaloniki. Upon arrival in Thessaloniki, we will begin a panoramic city tour. During this tour, we will see the waterfront, White Tower, Rotunda, Exhibition Square, Ottoman and Byzantine artifacts, and the largest cathedral in Greece, the Church of Saint Dimitrios, as well as the Statue of Alexander the Great. At the end of our tour, we will visit the house of the Great Leader Atatürk. After a short break, we will enjoy a walk along the waterfront promenade famous for its cafes, tasting Greece's famous Frappe coffee. After the city tour, we have free time. At the time specified by our guide, we will set off for Kavala. Kavala is one of the most important centers of Western Thrace, with a history dating back to the 600s BC, and was known as Neapolis (New City) founded by immigrants from Thasos Island. It was part of the Ottoman Empire from 1387 to 1912. Today, a significant part of the city’s population consists of Greeks, especially those who settled here during the population exchange in 1923. Upon arrival in Kavala, we start our panoramic city tour. We will see the Old Town known as Panagia, starting with the Church of St. Nicholas built in 1530 by Suleiman the Magnificent, which was converted into a church after being shortened and adorned with Christian mosaics. Other historical sites we will visit include Kavala Fortress, the house of Mehmet Ali Pasha from Kavala, the imaret now converted into a hotel, the aqueduct, and the old town within the fortress. After our visit to Kavala, we will buy special almond Kavala cookies from the local pastry shops and continue our journey via Xanthi, Komotini, and Dedeagac, completing our customs and passport procedures at the Greece-Turkey border. We will make various stops along Ipsala, Tekirdağ, and Istanbul, finally reaching Bolu and concluding our tour by dropping you off at the points from where we initially picked you up.
